Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix together flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, cornmeal and milk.
  2. Stir in enough cold water to form thick batter.
  3. Mix in onions then drop by teaspoonfuls into deep fat.
  4. Flatten patties slightly as you turn them then fry to a golden brown.
