  3. Place pita bread on baking sheet.
  4. Divide cheese and basil on the pita.
  5. Arrange the tomato slices around.
  6. Top with the garlic if using
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to your liking.
  8. Bake for 5-8 minutes or to desired crispness.
