Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup. grapenuts cereal
  • 2 - 3 tbsp. water
  • 1/3 cup. english walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:

  1. Place dates and water in a cereal bowl and microwave one minute to soften.
  2. Grind walnuts and Grapenuts in a food processor until fine.
  3. Add dates and water and process until they will stick together when pressed
  4. Press into oil-sprayed pie plate or springform pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. It burns easily, so watch carefully.
  6. Makes 1 crust
