Ingredients:

  • 1 2/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in mixer.
  3. Stir in all remaining ingredients.
  4. Pour into ungreased 8x8x2 square pan.
  5. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
  6. Use any icing you like or none at all.
