Lemon Pepper Grilled Cornish Game Hens

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium high.
  2. Cut Cornish hens in half lengthwise. Wash and pat dry.
  3. Mix garlic powder, lemon pepper seasoning and paprika in a bowl.
  4. Lift up skin and rub meat with seasoning mixture. Replace skin.
  5. Cook on grill skin side down for 25 minutes, keeping grill lid closed.
  6. Flip and cook for 15 minutes.
  7. Mix lemon juice and olive oil. Brush on hens, then sprinkle with salt.
  8. Cook for additional 10 minutes, or until internal temperature is 180°F.
