Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a 4 qt. kettle:
  2. Place water, fresh green beans (if using canned add later), potatoes, onion, and spices.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Turn down and simmer uncovered until potatoes/beans are done.
  5. Remove bay leaf.
  6. Add canned green beans (drained).
  7. Refrigerate 24 hours to blend flavors.
  8. While soup is cold add sour cream or yogurt.
  9. Reheat to serving temp.
  10. DO NOT BOIL.
