Grandma's Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tsp butter flavor extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup flour

Directions:

  1. Mix the mixture ingredients together in a bowl; pour mixture into a greased 8 x 8 glass pan.
  2. Mix the topping ingredients into a loose mixture; this is best done by melting the butter and slowly stirring it into the brown sugar and flour mixture. Once it is mixed completely, sprinkle it on top of the mixture in the glass pan.
  3. Cook for 35 minutes at 350 degrees, uncovered.
