Fontina And Asparagus Tart

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. In a large skillet, bring 1 in. of water to a boil, then add asparagus Cover and cook 3 minutes or so, until crisp tender, then drain
  3. On floured surface, roll out pastry to 12 x 16 rectangle
  4. Transfer to parchment paper lined baking sheet
  5. Bake 10 minutes and remove from oven
  6. Sprinkle 1 1/2 cups cheese over pastry
  7. Arrange asparagus on top of cheese
  8. Sprinkle with remaining cheese
  9. Combine lemon juice, olive oil, lemon peel, salt and pepper
  10. Sprinkle over top
  11. Bake 10-15 minutes or until asparagus is tender and cheese is melted
  12. Slice and serve warm
