Filipino Lumpia Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup broth or 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2-2 tsp soy sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water

Directions:

  1. Mix together first 4 ingredients. Boil about 2 minutes.
  2. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 T. water and add to mixture.
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously until thickened.
