Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp bacon drippings

Directions:

  1. Combine first 5 ingredients; mix well. Add milk, egg, and bacon drippings; stir only to combine. Fill greased muffin pans two-thirds full. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or until browned.
