Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F Mix tomatoes, basil, garlic and pepper; set aside.
  2. Spray nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions; reduce heat to medium. Cool and stir 5-7 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally. Use additional cooking spray if needed. Add sugar and salt; cook and stir 1 minute or until onions are caramelized.
  3. Spread tomato mixture over pizza leaving a 1-inch border. Top with onions, and cheese.
  4. Bake 8-10 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes. Top with fresh basil, if desired. Cut into 6 slices to serve.
