Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Beat egg and sugar until light.
  2. Add melted butter and vanilla.
  3. Mix flour with salt, baking soda and baking powder.
  4. Add flour and buttermilk alternatively. Add more buttermilk for consistency.
  5. Cook in non-stick pan, flipping when edges start to brown and holes start to appear.
  6. Enjoy with butter and maple syrup.
