1 cup whole wheat flour |
3/4 cup buttermilk |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
Directions:
1. Beat egg and sugar until light. 2. Add melted butter and vanilla. 3. Mix flour with salt, baking soda and baking powder. 4. Add flour and buttermilk alternatively. Add more buttermilk for consistency. 5. Cook in non-stick pan, flipping when edges start to brown and holes start to appear. 6. Enjoy with butter and maple syrup. |
