  1. Combine the coleslaw mix with the onion in a large bowl.
  2. Whisk together the salad dressing, oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and seeds in a medium bowl; blend thoroughly.
  3. Pour dressing over coleslaw and onion mixture and toss to coat.
  4. Chill at least 2 hours to marinate and fully develop flavors before serving.
