Spinach With Olive Oil And Garlic

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb bag fresh spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pat of real butter (optional)
  • salt to taste

Directions:

  1. In a large flat skillet heat oil and butter if using..
  2. Mince the garlic fine and add, do not let it get brown or it will be bitter.
  3. Add the spinach, stir, and lid for about 4 minutes.
  4. Stir again, tossing to mix all.
  5. Cook to your desired doneness.. I do not let it cook for long or it will lose that bright green color.
  6. Salt and pepper to taste.
