Spicy Beef And Aji Appetizers

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut ajies on both ends.
  2. With a small spoon, carefully remove seeds and veins.
  3. Soak in water overnight. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
  4. Drain and dry.
  5. Drain bread to eliminate excess milk, discard milk and combine bread with meat.
  6. Season with salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Carefully stuff ajies with meat mixture.
  8. Cut each ají crosswise in 3 or 4 pieces and transfer them to a lightly oiled cookie sheet.
  9. Place a wooden toothpick in center of each.
  10. Bake in preheated oven to 350ºF for 30 minutes.
  11. Remove from oven and arrange on a serving dish.
