Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Split the squash in half from top to bottom and remove seeds with a spoon.
  3. Line an oven tray with aluminum foil.
  4. Brush spaghetti squash flesh with olive oil.
  5. Place flesh side down and roast for 30 to 35 minutes (depends on size of squash). until some edges of the exposed flesh will be brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and cool.
  7. Meanwhile heat the marinara sauce in a large saute pan.
  8. Using a large kitchen spoon scrape the strands of squash from the inside of the skin.
  9. Add sauce, garlic salt, pepper, parmesan cheese or other accompaniment.
