Ingredients:

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions:

  1. Peel the garlic cloves & cruch them.
  2. Grate the onion and place with the garlic & oregano in a mixing bowl.
  3. Add the the olive oil,grape juice and salt & pepper & mix thouroughly this is the marinade.
  4. Cut the meat into 3/4 inch cubes and add to the marinade,making sure all the meat is coated.
  5. Leave in fridge overnight,or at least 3 hours.
  6. Thread the meat cubes onto skewers(at least 4 will be needed).
  7. Heat broiler or barbecue & cook the skewers of meat for 10-15 minuites.
  8. Turn the meat occasionally & brush with some of the spare marinade.
  9. Check the meat is cooked though by removing one cube from a skewer & cutting it in 2. when ready server with salad & a dollop of greek yogurt.
