Ingredients:

  • 1 large can pumpkin
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1-1/4 cups butter melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cloves.
  3. Blend thoroughly then pour blended mixture into greased rectangular cake pan.
  4. Top with dry cake mix then pecans then drizzle with melted butter and bake 55 minutes.
  5. Allow cake to stand several hours before serving.
