Ingredients:

  • 4 -5 large potatoes
  • 1 (1 1/4 oz) envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine

Directions:

  1. Peel potatoes, if desired.
  2. Cut into 1/2 thick slices.
  3. Melt butter and stir soup mix inches
  4. Layer potatoes in casserole dish and cover each layer with onion butter mixture, ending with butter mix.
  5. Bake covered for 1 hour.
