Ingredients:

  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts
  • 6 slices bacon (crisply cooked)
  • 1 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3 oz ham, cubes (about 1/2 cup)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/8 onion (slice)
  • 1/2 cup zucchini (optional)

Directions:

  1. Prepare pie crust, sprinkle crumbled bacon and cheese on the bottom of pie crust.
  2. Put remaining ingredients in blender container, blend on high for 10 sec, don't over-blend.
  3. Pour into pie crust over bacon and cheese.
  4. To freeze: Flash freeze pie and container. When frozen, cover with aluminum foil and seal in jumbo freezer bag.
  5. To prepare: thaw quiche completely before baking. Bake in preheated oven at 350 - degrees for 30 minutes, until top is golden brown and mixture is set. Serve warm.
