Oxtail Stew Jamican Style

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs oxtails , cut into pieces
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 3 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp thyme
  • 1 medium hot pepper
  • 1 (20 oz) can peeled tomatoes
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  1. Season oxtail with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil and add oxtails, brown slightly.
  3. Add onions and green peppers.
  4. Add tomatoes, hot pepper thyme and water
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Lower heat and cook 1 hour.
  7. If needs it add more water.
  8. Serve oer boiled plaintains.
