Ingredients:

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 (10 oz) jar preserves ( apricot is tasty)

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients, except preserves.
  2. Reserve 1 cup mixture.
  3. Press remaining mixture into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  4. Spread with preserves to 1/2 inch of pan.
  5. Sprinkle with remaining mixture.
  6. Bake at 400* for 25-30 minutes , until golden.
