Ingredients:

  • 6 tilapia filets (i buy the individually frozen ones from costco, they also sell it fresh at times)
  • bacon (i use hormel real crumbled in the bag - convenient and less fat and hassle)
  • 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion (or i have used red, green or yellow - whatever you have)
  • parmesan (or whatever cheese your like) that's what this recipe is all about - convenience

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 * F
  2. Place Tilapia fillets in greased 9x13 (or whatever works for you)
  3. Spread ranch dressing on each one - as thin or thick as you like
  4. Sprinkle with bacon bits as much as you like
  5. Sprinkle with onion . . .
  6. Top with the cheese ( I wait until last 5 minutes of cooking - but you choose when)
  7. Bake in oven for 15 - 20 minutes max - Don't want them dry
  8. You can use them frozen and cook 30 mins at 375* and it works just as well.
