Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Cut steak into small cubes and brown on all sides in the butter in a frying pan. Set meat aside.
  2. Add a little more butter and the onion. Fry until soft and stir in the curry powder and cook for 3 minutes until the mixture is well browned.
  3. Return the beef to the pan stirring well and lifting anything stuck to the bottom of the pan. Cover with the rest of the ingredients and cook again for 2 minutes.
  4. Simmer gently, covered lightly, for 1 1/2 hours or until the meat is tender and the sauce has thickened.
