Ingredients:

  • 2 13 3/4- oz cans low-salt chicken broth
  • 5 strips bacon, cooked, crumbled (optional)
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tbsp grated romano
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. Whisk together broth and cornmeal in large bowl. Cook in microwave on High until thickened, about 15 minutes, whisking every 5 minutes to combine. Stir in bacon, Romano, butter and pepper and serve.
