Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 lbs 93% lean ground beef
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar , packed

Directions:

  1. Beat eggs, add milk, crackers, onion, salt, sage and pepper.
  2. Add beef and mix well.
  3. Shape into a 8 x 5 inch loaf and place in a cake pan.
  4. Combine ketchup, brown sugar and Worcestershire and spread 1/2 to 3/4 of it over the loaf, use the rest for dipping.
  5. Bake at 350 for 60 min, let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
