Ingredients:

  • 2 -4 large yellow potatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp bacon bits
  • 1 dash salt

Directions:

  1. Peel potatoes, or if you use a thin skinned potato just scrub clean. Chop up, add bacon bits, then boil until fork tender, drain.
  2. Combine all other ingredients and mash potatoes to desired consistency.
  3. For a sweeter twist, substitute one potato for one sweet potato.
