Ingredients:

  • 1 jar or can of sauerkraut
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 - 2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 medium onions
  • aprox 2 tbsp fresh chopped dill (optional)

Directions:

  1. Drain the Sauerkraut into a strainer, run cold water over it for about 20 seconds,( enough to get the harsh vinegary taste out).. put aside.
  2. Grate the carrot finely and chop the onion, and garlic small as well.
  3. Melt the margarine in a frying pan , then add the carrot,onion and garlic.
  4. Saute until soft .
  5. Add the sauerkraut in the frying pan with the ingredients listed above... fry on low for about 5 minutes.
