Lou Ann's Corn Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup green onions or 1/2 cup white onion
  • 3/4 cup bell pepper
  • 2 (15 1/4 oz) cans cream-style corn
  • 2 (14 3/4 oz) cans whole corn (drain 1)
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz) package cornbread mix ( cook 1st & set aside)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup pimiento

Directions:

  1. Sauté onions & pepper in margarine.
  2. Add corn, crumbled cornbread, egg, sugar, & pimentos.
  3. MIX WELL.
  4. Pour in buttered casserole dish.
  5. Grate sharp or cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
