London Broil with Green Beans and Potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1.14 lb steak
  • 1 1/2 cup potato
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp garlic
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp onion
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp salt

Directions:

  1. Mix ingredients from olive oil down into a shallow container. Place steaks in and add enough water to cover. Let marinate for at least one hour.
  2. Mix instant mashed potatoes or make from scratch. warm can of green beans or steam fresh.
  3. Place meat on broiler or coolings rack on cookie sheet. Broil on each side 3-5 minutes depending on thickness. Flip over every 3 min to prevent burning.
  4. While broiling meat, boil marinade in saute pan and add mushrooms if liked. Continue to boil and reduce to kill germs from raw meat at least 5 minutes, generally until meat is done. Add corn starch to thicken if you like.
  5. Remove meat from oven/broiler and slice cross grain in thin strips. Stir in saute pan with sauce to get more flavor. Serve with potatoes and green beans. Drizzle saue over meat and potatoes.
