Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups applesauce
  • 2 (4 oz) salmon fillets

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in skillet.
  2. Add basil to oil and heat until oil is flavored (1- 2 minutes).
  3. Cover basil with applesauce and place salmon on top of applesauce.
  4. Cover, reduce heat to medium, and cook until salmon is cooked through.
  5. Serve topped with basil-applesauce mixture.
