Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 4 tbsp sugar

Directions:

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, salt.
  2. In a separate bowl beat egg YOLKS and then add milk and butter.
  3. Combine dry mixture with egg+milk+butter mixture. Beat until smooth.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.Slowly add sugar, beating constantly.
  5. Mix 1/3 of beaten whites with batter then fold remaining whites in carefully.
  6. Pour around 3/4 cup of batter in waffle iron.
