Grandma's Cheesecake Squares

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Directions:

  1. Mix butter, sugar and egg. Add flour and baking powder mixing until dough becomes like pie crust. Spread in pan.
  2. Spread crushed pineapple on dough.
  3. Beat cream cheese, sugar and eggs together.
  4. Add flour, milk, vanilla and lemon juice. Beat until smooth. Pour over dough and pineapple.
  5. Sprinkle top with cinnamon.
  6. Bake 1 hour at 350°F
  7. Let cool and cut into squares.
  8. Enjoy!
