Fried Potatoes With Yogurt Lime Cilantro Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1/4 tsp tumeric
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 lime
  • 5 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 inch ginger

Directions:

  1. Slice your potatoes, round and in thin slices
  2. Add tumeric , salt and cumin powder and set for 2 mins.
  3. While your potatoes are marinating make the sauce
  4. Add your yogurt, cilantro, green chillie, garlic and ginger in a blender and puree
  5. Set aside in a bowl
  6. In a frying pan add your oil and heat on medium flame
  7. Add your potato slices one at a time and fry until golden brown and cooked and each side.
  8. Remove on a paper towel and pat dry
  9. Add to your serving plate and top with a little of your yogurt sauce
  10. Serve and enjoy.
  11. Note: You can also use this yogurt dip with your favorite chip!
