Easy Parmesan-herb Breadsticks

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup and 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsps butter or margarine , melted. reserve 1 tbsp
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp italian seasoning

Directions:

  1. Grease cookie sheet
  2. Combine dry ingredients in small bowl
  3. Stir in water and butter
  4. Beat 20 times
  5. Press dough into 8x4-inch rectangle on cookie sheet
  6. Cut crosswise into 8 breadsticks, do not separate
  7. Brush with 1 tablespoon melted butter
  8. Sprinkle with 1 table grated Parmesan cheese
  9. Heat oven to 400 degrees F
  10. Cover dough and let rise in warm place 15 minutes
  11. Uncover and bake 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown
