Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Coat pan in olive oil
  2. Heat pan to medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and cook for a minute or until softened.
  4. Add garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, oregano, and mix, let flavors blend. about 3 minutes.
  5. Add tomato paste.
  6. Add diced and crushed tomatos and transfer everything to a big pot.
  7. Add whole basil leaves and bring to a rolling boil, stirring.
  8. Add mushrooms and green peppers.
  9. Add seared pork ribs.
  10. Simmer uncovered for 2- 4 hours. the longer the better!
  11. Add water until sauce is runny to your liking.
  12. Add salt.
  13. Add chopped basil 1/4 cup 15 minutes before taking off stove.
  14. Turn heat down to simmer.
  15. Add more seasonings to your taste (chopped basil, salt, pepper, pepperflakes).
  16. Cook 5 more minutes.
