Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

  1. Combine 3/4 cup brown sugar, whipping cream, cream of tartar and butter in 1-quart saucepan.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved (3 to 4 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat stir in vanilla.
  4. Drizzle sauce over each piece of cake.
