Ingredients:

  • 1-4 lb stewing chicken or equal amount in chick parts
  • 1 1/2 quarts water
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 branch celery chopped
  • 1 large zucchini
  • 2 potatoes cut in small pieces

Directions:

  1. You can start this in the morning and let it cook all day for a more flavorful stew.
  2. Place Chicken in water.
  3. Add Onion, garlic , celery and zucchini and allow to simmer till soft.
  4. Let simmer until barley softens to eating texture and potatoes are ready. Serve with rolls.
