Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix the waffle mix with the liquid smoke.
  2. Skewer cheddar bratwurst.
  3. Lightly cook bacon, leaving it chewy.
  4. Wrap 2 strips of bacon around the bratwurst, use maple syrup as adhesive.
  5. Roll bacon-wrapped bratwurst in waffle batter.
  6. Deep fry for 3 minutes.
  7. After deep frying, wrap in 4 strips of bacon and deep fry for 3 more minutes.
  8. Pour 1 cup of waffle batter into waffle iron.
  9. When waffle is complete, wrap around deep-fried battered baconed cheddar bratwurst.
  10. Serve with maple syrup on the side.
