Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cup brown sugar , firmly packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat oven to 350
  2. Melt butter in 2 qt saucepan over meduim heat (careful not to burn)
  3. Add Brown sugar & mix well
  4. Cool 5 minutes
  5. Stir in eggs & vanilla
  6. Add flour & salt, mix well
  7. Spread into a 13 x 9 baking pan
  8. Bake 22 - 27 minutes or until set
  9. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
