Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 3/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup butter , plus
  • 1 2/3 cups packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup chopped walnuts or 2/3 cup pecans

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 pan.
  2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together, set aside. Mix brown sugar and butter, add eggs one at a time. Add the flour mixture, nuts, and chocolate chips. Spread in the pan.
  3. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
