Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a medium saucepan combine berries, sugar, water, juice and cinnamon.
  2. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 8 minutes.
  3. Stir frequently then remove from heat.
  4. In mixing bowl stir together flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and soda.
  5. Stir in melted butter until thoroughly combined.
  6. Set aside 1 cup of the oat mixture for topping.
  7. Press remaining oat mixture into an ungreased square baking pan.
  8. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  9. Carefully spread filling on top of baked crust.
  10. Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture.
  11. Lightly press oat mixture into filling.
  12. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  13. Cool in pan on a wire rack then cut into bars.
