BBQ Ribs With Rub

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp celery seed
  • 5 lbs ribs
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Directions:

  1. In a med size bowl mix rub ingredients together.
  2. Rub ribs with rub mix.
  3. Cut apart ribs.
  4. Place ribs in large roaster pan.
  5. Chop onion and sprinkle over ribs.
  6. Add water to roaster at the edge of pan.
  7. Cover with foil and roast in 375°F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
  8. Remove from oven and drain water.
  9. Drizzle with BBQ sauce and roast for another 15-20 minutes uncovered.
