Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Sauté the onions in butter until soft.
  2. In large bowl, combine the onion, beef, bread, crumbs, apples, eggs, parsley, pepper, and ketchup.
  3. Form into a loaf and place in a 10x14-inch baking pan or pack into a large greased loaf pan.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let sit for 15 minutes before serving.
