Southern Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Directions:

  1. (You could place the pecans on the top of the pie crust before pouring
  2. The batter into the pie shell as the pecans will rise to the top and become coated)
  3. Beat eggs thoroughly with sugar, dash of salt, corn syrup and melted butter.
  4. Add pecans. Pour into unbaked pastry shell.
  5. Bake in moderate oven (350) 50 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between
  6. Outside and center of filling comes out clean.
  7. Cool and eat
