Ingredients:

  • 3-1/3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1-1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup crisco oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups (1 15oz can) pumpkin

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift the dry ingredients.
  3. Make a well & add the oil, stirring while pouring.
  4. In a small bowl mix the water & eggs, then add to the large bowl.
  5. Add the pumpkin & stir until smooth.
  6. Pour into desired size loaf pans that have been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees 25 minutes to 1 hour, depends on the size of the loaves and oven or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
  8. (I will use 6 small pans, and they usually bakes for 30 minutes)
