Ingredients:

  • 6 large baking apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • cream (optional)
  • oatmeal (optional)

Directions:

  1. Place apples in greased 12x7 inches baking dish. Sprinkle with the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. In a seperate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, and butter (and a little oatmeal, optional). I added a little oatmeal, maybe 1/4 Celsius or less. Sprinkle over apple mixture. Bake 350 for 40-45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm or at room temp, with cream if desired.
