Pork Loaf (An Old Time Recipe)

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs pork (i assume they mean ground )
  • 1 pint breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • salt , pepper & sage (to taste )

Directions:

  1. Soak the bread crumbs in the milk.
  2. Add seasonings & eggs (unbeaten).
  3. Form into a loaf with the hands & bake in a moderate (350°) oven for 2 hours.
  4. Apples or potatoes are very nice cooked around the pork.
