Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups corn oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 13 oz can evaporated milk

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl beat eggs then add sugar and oil.
  2. Beat well.
  3. In a separate bowl sift together flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. Add flour mixture to egg mixture alternately with evaporated milk then mix in poppy seeds.
  5. Pour batter into a greased angel food cake pan and bake at 325 for 1-1/2 hours.
